This was one of the first websites I built early in my time at Austin PBS. The previous iteration of website looked dated, flat, and just generally very uninteresting.

The Austin City Limits Hall of Fame is Austin PBS's biggest annual fundraiser. Key things this website needed to present were recognition of sponsors and partners, opportunities for new sponsors to support the station and event, and anthology information about previous Hall of Fame ceremonies and inductees.

With a corporate sponsorship audience in mind, a clean, navigable style was chosen, based on Material Design patterns. The homepage layout can easily be switched for above-the-fold emphasis on sponsorship packets, ticket sales links, or save the date information as needed year round.

In addition to maintaining the website for the Hall of Fame each year, I have also volunteered to help with the event itself. From helping set the venue up before doors open, to running tasks for the check-in desk during pre-parties and VIP events, to filling seats at show time, and loading out after the show has ended, the Hall of Fame is a long evening. It thereby needs to be easy to update the website the next morning in time for press releases. I made this into a simple task -- with the simple update of a JSON file, the inductee information is updated dynamically.
